Statement

I love to do plein air painting. I also likes to paint portraits and still-life paintings, but landscape is my favorite subject to paint. I inspired by the beauty of nature and attracted to places where water flows. My artworks combines techniques that I learned from my mentor Director Craig Nelson, Zhao Ming Wu, Calvin Liang, and Adam Forfang, etc., and I often likes to use a palette knife and varied brushstrokes to create textures to form depth to mimic the original objects and places. I wants my art to reflect everyday human life and celebrate the beauty of nature.
